Caribfest is right around the corner and as usual the calendar is packed with events. We have day fetes, Jouvert, camo parties and the parade. I have posted events here. I think I got most of them but the lineup is constantly changing so if I forgot something let me know so I can add it.
Also remember that Girl Power presale tickets are on sale now. You can pick them up at Premier Hall or contact one of the promoters. Everyone who purchases a presale ticket will be eligible to win one of six bottles of Nuvo. And ladies, don’t forgot there will be a special treat for all of you.
Caribfest 2009 is right around the corner. Here are some of the events we will be at over the next month. We still have some Girl Power pre-sale tickets available. Only $15 and you are entered to win a bottle of Nuvo (six chances to win).

Stamina Band took a little road trip to Dallas this weekend for our first non-Houston band launch. Things were great. Had fun, signed up some masqueraders and promoted like crazy.
Gotta thank B & C Productions, QB, VI Queen, Coretta, and our models for a great night. Also don’t wanna forget Plum from Peoplez Choice and DJ Skin Tight.
Now we gotta get back on the grind. Caribfest is right around the corner. Just looked at the calendar, only 5 weekends left to promote for Girl Power. Ticket prices go up at the end of the month so hit me up for the $10 tickets.

So Iswedis is back, slowly getting in the groove of things. We’re about to do a photoshoot yall! No not of the members, but of the Stamina Band 2009 costumes for Houston Caribfest. Yes, we already launched the band for the year and people have already seen the costumes, but not official pictures. This year’s theme is “Pandora’s Box Unleashed”, “Where anything goes…”. Hmmm now doesn’t that sound risque. We have already had such an overwhelming response, people are signing up like crazy, and everyone is AMPED for the carnival season. So as soon as the photo shoot is finished and photos are edited we’ll show you what’s up! Oh yah, also this season we’re involved in a new fete, Girl Power. It’s all about the ladies yall. Ladies need to be appreciated too, right! Well this fete is now the official kick off of the Houston Caribfest, an all-female line up, something for the ladies, and surprises, suprises, suprises. We are sooo ready for this one guys, its gonna be BIG! So big tickets are already onsale, and selling faaast. You know why? Because they are still at early bird prices. Okay okay yes we know. It’s been donkey years and we completely FELL OFF the scene. Apologies for our untimely resurrection, but the good thing is we resurrected none the less. It’s been a long battle and much needed break and WE’RE BAAACCCK! We missed you all just as much as you’ve missed us. Why the new look? why a blog? Well honestly we just wanted to. LOL But every one’s blogging, we get to take a more personal “our opinions” approach, and hell we don’t have to have a set updating time frame. LOL We are all growing up and we all know that extra curricular activities in this day and age are hard to keep maintained. We promise this time to do better and hope you like what we’ve done with the place.
